Gag Reflex Presents will this year be MC’d by Adam Rowe; widely regarded as one of the most exciting young comics to emerge in recent years, fast becoming a huge favourite at all of the UK’s biggest comedy clubs, and festivals.

His natural, laid back persona combined with his brutally honest, opinionated stand-up and phenomenal adlibbing ability, make each of his performances unique and gloriously unpredictable and always hilarious.

"Nothing short of prodigious" – The Skinny

"Natural at entertaining crowds with his comic brilliance" – Liverpool Echo

Gabriel Ebulue is a fresh new talent on the UK comedy circuit, and has been described as a young comic - with an old soul.  Represented by United Talent Agency, Gabriel has impressed in many new act competitions, placing as a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Award and as a semi-finalist in both Laughing Horse & So You Think You’re Funny?  His set covers topics ranging from his history with drugs, to his obsession with music, to race relations and everything in-between. Alongside his comedy career he is also a freelance music journalist, writing for the likes of Overblown and Stereogum. He is the host of the new music/comedy podcast The Three Track Podcast.

"Refreshingly steers away from clichéd routines & stereotypes " – Bruce Dessau

One of the brightest young talents on the Northern comedy scene, Lauren Pattison is beginning to make her presence known across the country. Represented by United Artists, Lauren finished runner up in 2014's Funny Women competition, she went on to be the only female finalist in 2015's Chortle Student Comedy Awards & English Comedian Of The Year. Fresh from performing at Latitude Festival and supporting Katherine Ryan on tour, this baby faced comic is one to watch out for.

"Sharp writing" – The Guardian

"Definitely one to watch" – Funny Women

Multi-award winning comedian Tom Taylor has received high praise from audiences and critics alike. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure, and he boasts an impressive stock of quirky, and very funny, musical one-liners.

Finalist in the ‘13 So You Think You're Funny? Competition and ’14 Hobgoblin Comedy Award and winner of the inaugural Great Yorkshire Fringe New Comedian of the Year competition. Recently, Tom has performed on Radio 2 and Radio 4 Extra, as part of the BBC Radio New Comedy Award and has supported Simon Munnery on tour.

"His brand of nervous, neurotic musical comedy – coupling deliberately simplistic tunes on an old Casio keyboard with cleverly constructed lyrics and smart wordplay – is an absolute delight" – The Skinny

"A fine and innovative Bontempi player and comedian" – Time Out

Radu Isac is a Romanian stand up comedian, whose committed and ambitious work ethic, and unusual style onstage has impressed comedy clubs across the UK. Finalist of the Amused Moose Laugh Off 2016, Winner of King Gong at The London Comedy Store, The Comedy Cafe New Act Night and the Blackout Gong Show at Up The Creek Comedy Club in February, Radu is a fresh young comic who only has great things ahead of him.

"nicely treads the line between weird and relatable, even in a language he admits he can only speak when committed to a script. Nice work. " – Chortle

"Simultaneously sweet and dark" – Chortle

The final week of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe sees Gag favourites Allyson June Smith and Dan Nightingale join the Gag Presents line up, who will grace the stage as very special guests.

Canadian émigré Allyson June Smith commands every stage she walks onto with her own dynamite brand of hilarious material, driven by the strong rhythms that are a hallmark of so much North American stand-up. Allyson performs for audiences ranging from corporate parties to regional clubs. Whether she’s on the bill as MC, support, or headliner, she skillfully delights them all with her sassy blend of ballsy stand-up, and hilariously insightful commentary. She works for all the major UK and international promoters, and is a regular support for Stewart Francis on his live tour dates.

"Wasn’t afraid to be shocking and explicit… hilarious" – Three Weeks

"Ultra likeable and versatile" – Now Magazine

Dan Nightingale is widely regarded as one of the best performers working on the comedy circuit today. Mixing fiendishly accurate observation with energetic characterisations and killer punch lines, his comedy is original, playful, intelligent, poignant and exciting; sometimes ridiculous… but always hilarious.

As well as developing his reputation as a top-class circuit headliner and in-demand MC and host, he has also performed regular TV warm up for the likes of Jonathan Ross, and Celebrity Juice and performed on John Bishop’s Only Joking on Sky 1. Dan has also become a regular crowd pleaser and critically acclaimed success at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, having performed solo shows since 2008.

"Magnetic, entertaining and wonderfully friendly" – Three Weeks

"Exciting and imaginative" – Edinburgh Evening News
